eXtendable Solar Array System (XSAS)

The eXtendable Solar Array System (XSAS) is a modular "plug-and-play" power bus for CubeSats capable of providing up to 20W of continuous power from 1.5U stowed configuration. When fully deployed, XSAS can also provide gravity gradient stabilization for the satellite in orbit.

Role as Payload Researcher:
  • Design of spacecraft mechanisms.
  • Rapid prototyping from CAD and simulated dynamics to hardware demos
