2015 Boston Marathon

  • Run 2015 Boston Marathon for Shriners Hospitals for Children
  • Raise $5000 to help provide highly specialized pediatric surgical care for children with severe burn injuries, complex skin conditions, and cleft lip/palate
  • Finished in like 3:21, I'll do better next time. (Update 2021: finished LA Marathon in 2:50!)

Global Space Balloon Challenge

  • Co-founder, co-lead MIT Space Balloon Team
  • Inaugural partner of the Global Space Balloon Challenge. Participation of over 50 teams in 6 continents in 2014. Participation of over 300 teams in 48 countries in 2015
  • Raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research

Stage Magic - Aerospades

Angell Hall Planetarium


Trained as an operator of the Angell Hall planetarium and the Zeiss projector. The projector can display the sky as seen at any location on the Earth at any time. It projects 7,000 stars that can be seen with the unaided eye, the Milky Way, the Sun, the Moon (with phases) and the 5 brightest planets -- Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

Prepare and present planetarium shows for local elementary children, freshman university courses, and student groups.
