SPHERES Halo Software Architect
Overview
The SPHERES Halo expands the range of payloads that can be utilized by the SPHERES by supply external power, USB and gigabit Ethernet bus lines.
A new object oriented software architecture must be developed for guest scientists to enable simultaneous control of multiple payloads
Role
Architect modular, object oriented design of software to support parallel processing of multiple peripherals
C++ software development. Linux environment
Currently supported payloads: stereo vision cameras, docking ports, Control Moment Gyros, infrared imager, lidar, prototype robotic arms
